Me at Pixar Pier

Jonathan Ryan Quiroz

I am a 31-year-old alumna from Southern California, having earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Media - Visual Arts with a minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. Additionally, I pursued further education and obtained an MS in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.

Currently, I hold the position of Graphic Design Manager at Super Color Digital, where I lead the Automotive Department in creating comprehensive graphics packages encompassing murals, signage, and other visual elements. Within my professional circle, I'm known as the "Disney guy" due to my extensive knowledge and passion for all things related to Disney.

Over the course of 9 years, I had the privilege of working at the Disneyland Resort as a Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Cast Member. Inspired by my father's legacy in leading the rebellion against the First Order, I enthusiastically joined the Resistance, engaging with our beloved guests who were either enlisting with the Resistance for the first time or re-enlisting. This backstory provides me with a deep sense of purpose.

During my tenure, I also served as the Assistant Manager for the Backstage Trams and the Downtown Disney Tolls area at the Disneyland Resort. In this capacity, I was responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of Cast Members to their intended destinations, managing break timings, and coordinating activities around the Resort's dynamic schedule, including fireworks, construction, and parades. Additionally, I handled a significant fund that regularly exceeded $1000, effectively addressing guest concerns, and maintaining communication with the area managers to ensure smooth traffic flow in the vicinity.
